A speech by a Manipur tribal leader in Canada has stirred controversy, with allegations of connections between NAMTA (North American Manipur Tribal Association) and Khalistan surfacing.
Lien Gangte, the Canada chapter chief of NAMTA, addressed a gathering in Surrey, condemning what he called 'attacks on minorities in India' and seeking Canada's assistance.
The event took place at the same gurdwara where Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed.
